On tuesday the IRT were tasked to the sea front to a report of a seal which appeared ill. It's not the 1st time we have been called to check the welfare of a seal in fact a seal pup was born on the beach under the Grand hotel some years ago.
Having taken advice from the team at Durlston Country Park it was confirmed the seal was ok and just having a rest, in fact shortly after the seal popped back into the water and disappeared.
